Dual Major BTech program:
This programme enables students enrolled in the BTech programme to complete a second major in any other engineering discipline of their interest. For example, a student admitted to Chemical Engineering can opt for a second major in any one of Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Science & Engineering. Students may apply for a second major any time after completion of first three semesters. Permission for dual major shall be in the order of merit determined by the students’ CPI. Students enrolled in this programme will have to complete all the compulsory courses as defined by the second discipline in addition to the minimum credit requirement of their parent discipline. On successful completion, a BTech degree mentioning both majors will be awarded.
