Mr Atul Jain is Chairman & CEO of TEOCO (‘The Employee Owned Company’) Corporation. TEOCO is a leading global organization providing cost, routing, revenue and network management solutions to top communications service providers worldwide.

Atul Jain founded TEOCO Corporation in 1995 with the dream of building a successful business model, not just a successful business. His goal was to build a company that did not compromise its values. Prior to starting TEOCO Corporation, Mr. Jain was with a Silicon Valley firm TIBCO for seven years. At TIBCO, Mr. Jain’s focus was to work with Fortune 500 clients to design and build state-of-the-art software solutions leveraging the company’s trademark TIB platform.

Current Occupant - Professor Nithin V. George

Nithin V. George received his PhD in Electrical Sciences from IIT Bhubaneswar in August 2012 – the first PhD graduate from among all second generation IITs. He joined IIT Gandhinagar in November 2012 and currently holds the post of Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering discipline. His research interests include active noise control, signal processing architecture and algorithms for hearing aids. He has published over 50 articles in international journals and conference proceedings. Nithin is a recipient of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Government of Canada, GSEP Fellowship; INSPIRE faculty award and the Indo-Australia Early and Mid-Career Researcher’s Fellowship. Also, he serves as an Associate Editor of the Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal.

Nithin was functioning as Associate Dean (Postgraduate Studies) for about three years during the period 2015-2018. His team was successful in designing and implementing pioneering methods of postgraduate student recruitment, leading to a vibrant and diverse postgraduate student population at IIT Gandhinagar. One such acclaimed initiative is the new Early Admit MTech Programme. He is currently holding the responsibility of Associate Dean (Faculty Relations). He was one of the coordinators for Invent@IITGN, 2018 - an intensive summer programme in inventing. Also, he has introduced many unconventional methods of student learning, which includes an Open Mind Examination model.
